If you go out on the town tonight

you'll be sure of a big surprise.

If you go trick and treating today

you'd better go in disguise.

For every witch that ever there was

will gather in town simply because

today's halloween and they all

want to go trick and treating.

If you dress up as a ghost or devil

you can be sure of a treat today

There'll be lots of food in the cauldron

and wonderful games to play

So when you're near to the trees,

where nobody sees

You can knock on the doors,

but be sure to say "please"

Because today's the day we all go

trick and treating.

If you and your friends walk round

Your neighbourhood tonight

You'll be sure of a big surprise

For every Witch that ever there was

Will be flying in the skies

The Witches have also invited you

To be their honored guest

So sort out your scary costumes

I'm sure you'll be the best

There's going to be a big party

With worms and spiders by the score

We'll include all the treats you've collected

When you went knocking on each door

I'll make a hot meal in my cauldron

Frogs legs and a hot baked potato

So I'll sign off by saying

"Goodbye for now"

I look forward to seeing you later

Happy Halloween children

It's time for trick or treat

We've got loads of houses to vist

So we'll be rushed right off our feet

When we've knocked on all the doors

We'll make a magic spell

You are all my little wizards

So we should do very well.

We'll get out my great big cauldron

and we'll make some sugared worms

We'll eat battered frogs and

chocolate spiders

I hope that made you squirm

So I'll see you on the 31st

Now I'll say a warm goodbye

I'm off to clean my broomstick

So I'm up and ready to fly.

Happy Halloween Children,

it's time for trick or treat

Today is the 31st October

The day that witches meet

I'll see you on the corner

by the light of the silvery moon

We'll have a party, sing and dance

and whistle a merry tune

So I'll say goodbye for now

I really will have to fly.

The next time you catch sight of me

I'll be whizzing though the sky

It's the 31st October Children

Hip, Hip, Horay

We can go trick or treating

On this very special day

I'll let you ride my broomstick

And hold my big black cat

We'll look for ingredients

 for my cauldron

3 frogs, 2 worms and 1 bat

You can dress up like a monster

and your friend a scary ghost

We'll start knocking on doors at 6.oo o clock

And see who can get the most

We'll share out takings at 9

And be in bed by 10

Then next year Mum & Dad

will let you go again
