York Dungeon

We went to York last year and decided while

we were there to visit York Dungeon.

I was picked on whilst we were there

and tried as a Witch.(How did they know? He he!)

They have a lovely little shop there and I purchased a couple of items. Unfortunately one of them was faulty but I rang them up and they were very helpful.

You can't say fairer than that.

It's well worth a visit if you're in that area.

  This is a poem I sent them

We came to the great York Dungeon

And had a lovely time.

We browsed around your spooky shop

Which I found eerily sublime.

I treated myself to some items

One being a fantastic spell book

The other item was the matching cat pen

But in the box I didn't look

When I eventually tried to use it

to write my daily spell

the refill wouldn't stay in the pen

So that didn't suit me very well

My broomstick doesn't fly that far

which in itself is quite a pain

And I have no idea, I'm sorry to say,

 when I can visit York again

But a new one you have promised me

and I have enclosed my original receipt

I thank you for the excellent service

 that's no trick

  It's a real treat.
